Deitra is a Licensed Professional Counselor who brings more than 15 years of trauma-centered clinical experience to her work with individuals, couples, and families. Her therapeutic presence is calm, grounding, and deeply empathetic, helping clients feel safe enough to explore the parts of their story they’ve long carried alone.

She integrates EMDR, somatic awareness, attachment repair, and relational attunement with a warm, faith-sensitive lens (for clients who desire it). Her work focuses on helping clients rebuild safety, identity, and internal regulation while healing the wounds created by trauma, relational rupture, grief, or chronic emotional overwhelm.

*She offers a space where your nervous system can settle, your story can be heard, and your healing can begin.*

Clinical Approach & Philosophy

Deitra’s approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and person-centered, rooted in the belief that healing requires emotional safety + nervous-system grounding + compassionate truth.

She supports:

– EMDR & somatic regulation

– Attachment-focused therapy

– Gottman-based relational repair

– Values- and faith-integrated meaning-making

– Cognitive and emotional pattern work

– Body-based stabilization practices

Her goal is to help clients slow down, reconnect with themselves, understand what their body has been holding, and create sustainable emotional change.

*Healing happens when safety, nervous-system support, and attunement come together.*
