LaShawntelle is a trauma-informed, faith-integrated therapist who helps clients cultivate safety, healing, and self-trust. Her background in addiction recovery, school-based counseling, ministry, and community advocacy gives her a rich understanding of the connection between psychology, spirituality, and human resilience.
She brings both clinical skill and soulful empathy, offering a grounded, compassionate space for individuals and families navigating trauma, anxiety, identity concerns, addiction, and relationship pain.
*Healing is possible when safety, compassion, and faith-informed insight come together.*
LaShawntelle’s approach is holistic, person-centered, and systems-oriented. She believes healing begins when clients feel *seen, safe, and supported*—in both their pain and their potential.
Her sessions emphasize emotional safety, nervous-system regulation, and spiritual grounding. She blends evidence-based modalities with faith-integrated frameworks to support emotional regulation, relational repair, and reconnection with meaning.
*She meets clients where they are—With presence, grounding, and faith-integrated care.*
LaShawntelle integrates trauma-informed modalities with a faith-sensitive lens for clients who wish to include spiritual meaning in their recovery. Through EMDR, narrative reframing, and mindfulness-based practices, she helps clients reprocess trauma, regulate the nervous system, and reclaim purpose.
*Faith and trauma work can coexist—Supporting clients with depth and stability.*
LaShawntelle has completed advanced training in the Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (CSAT) framework based on Dr. Patrick Carnes’ **30-Task Model**. She supports clients struggling with sexual compulsivity, pornography addiction, impulsivity, and behavioral or substance addictions.
Her work focuses on breaking shame cycles, restoring identity, and building the emotional and spiritual capacity needed for long-term recovery.
*Addiction loses power when shame is replaced with truth, compassion, and structure.*
LaShawntelle is trained in the *Certified Clinical Partner Specialist (CCPS)* model through APSATS, integrating the Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model to support partners affected by betrayal, addiction, and infidelity.
Her work emphasizes trauma validation, non-shaming care, emotional safety, and helping partners reconnect with their authentic voice.
*Partners deserve validation, safety, and a trauma-informed path to rebuilding trust.*
Her background includes extensive experience in substance addiction and trauma recovery. She helps individuals and families navigate emotional regulation, boundary repair, and healthy attachment patterns that support long-term sobriety and connection.
LaShawntelle uses Gottman Method principles to help couples strengthen communication, rebuild emotional safety, and deepen connection.
*Connection can be rebuilt—One moment of safety at a time.*
She supports clients navigating anxiety, grief, faith transitions, and identity shifts. Her work helps individuals build resilience, self-compassion, clarity, and alignment with their core values.
LaShawntelle’s work is guided by grace, structure, and deep empathy. She weaves together trauma-informed practice, EMDR, CSAT/CCPS principles, Gottman Method tools, and faith-based insight to support whole-person healing.
Her mission is to walk with clients as they rediscover strength, courage, and meaningful connection—To themselves, others, and what they hold sacred.
